District 4 Supervisor Candidate Questionnaires

Approving and overseeing the Contra Costa County budget (more than $4 billion!) is one of the most important responsibilities of elected County Supervisors. In order to better inform voters, the Contra Costa Budget Justice Coalition asked candidates for Supervisor in District 4 to complete a questionnaire about their views on the County Budget.

Questions covered topics including how their values and priorities will guide their decision-making, accessibility of budget information to the general public, and community engagement in the budget process.

Two candidates, Debora Allen and Carolyn Obringer, did not respond to the questionnaire and therefore are not shown here.
